Buying already assembled raised beds, compost bins, trellises, and other gardening essentials can be a very pricey venture. The editors at Storey Publishing must have been thinking of my master gardener friends and me when they assembled this collection of “how-to” projects. My master gardener friend Jeanie Moore was flipping through the pages when she found a color picture of a simple compost bin.”Oh,” she said, “I think I can build that.” The preceeding page lists all the materials, lumber, supplies, and tools needed to build it. The two pages following the picture give explicit instructions on the construction of the compost bin.
Maybe you are better at storing your tools than I am, but I’ll bet I’ll have it licked when I build the tool rack.
